Guidelines for Authors

HOW TO SUBMIT AN ARTICLE TO THE AARVF VALUERS BULLETIN JOURNAL

  1. Originality: Authors must ensure that the submitted articles have not been used, published, demonstrated, or broadcasted in any form on any website. The articles should be free from plagiarism, as each selected article undergoes a rigorous plagiarism check in accordance with ISSN's Plagiarism Policy.

  2. Relevance/Topicality: The topic of the article should be relevant to valuation, market analysis, or related to the advancement of valuation, preferably focusing on new innovations or practices in this profession.

  3. Interest: The selected topic should have the potential to enhance the readers' knowledge and be thought-provoking, introducing new ideas and motivating positive contributions to our field.

  4. Clarity/Readability: The language used in the article should be clear and easily readable, employing concise sentences that can be readily understood by the readers, and free from grammatical errors.

  5. Word Limit: The article should not exceed 500–1000 words, followed by a 100-word summary in a Word File.

  6. Headlines and Sub-headings: The article's headline should be concise and attention-grabbing, designed to captivate the readers' interest.

  7. References: The author must provide proper references at the bottom of the article.

  8. Enclosures: Along with the article, please enclose a brief author profile, including an email ID, postal address, contact numbers, and a passport-size photograph (scanned for email submission). A declaration affirming the originality of the article, as mentioned above, should also be enclosed.

  9. Subject of the Email: When submitting the article, the subject of the email should be: "Article for Bi-Monthly Journal, AARVF-Valuers Bulletin."

 

REVIEW PROCESS:

As mentioned earlier, the article will be reviewed by experts on the Editorial Board to assess its technical aspects and identify any necessary improvements or changes. Authors are requested to make the required changes as suggested by the reviewer and send it back as soon as possible. However, the final decision on publication lies with the Editorial Board.

 

COPYRIGHT/HONORARIUM:

The copyright for published articles will belong to AARVF. The authors will retain the copyright until the article is published in the journal. No honorarium will be provided for contributing articles to the journal. However, Registered Valuers will be eligible to earn 4 Credit points upon the publication of their article.

REJECTIONS:

If an article is deemed unsuitable for publication, the author will be informed, preferably via email, with or without specifying the reasons for rejection.
